Son of photographers, Pierre Delaunay was born in the French town of Ruffec in 1962, having already a 25 years’ career as a photographer in the humanities and social areas.

His talent has been recognized numerous times by both his portraits and his exhibitions, in France, Spain and Hungary.
In 2003, he became a Qualified European Photographer and in 2005 he was the first french Master Qualified European Photographer, both in the category of weddings. In 2012, in Brussels, he was awarded with the second MQEP by FEP – Federation of European Professional Photographers.

A teacher and an international speaker, Pierre is one of the founders and organizers of Barrobjectif, a photojournalism festival.
