Wife, sister, teacher, daughter, dreamer, traveller... there are many words that describe Ana, but none can contain everything that makes her the photographer she is. Passionate about her profession, she describes herself as a wedding photographer, dog lover and cheese taster.
She often says she has her closet in Coimbra, but spends more nights in airports than on her mattress. She photographs the happy days of her clients all over the world, from Lisbon to New York, London to Montreal, Rome to Copenhagen. Staying in one place for too long makes her restless, so she has lived in four countries and speaks five languages fluently (and a few more not so good)
Her work is distinguished by natural colours, intense light and a lot of emotion - instead of the perfect angle or ideal place, Ana chases the loudest laugh, the most unexpected tear and the tightest hug. She is published in several leading magazines, but she believes her work only has value when it makes someone smile uncontrollably as they relive their day.
